The Delmarva Bayriders are an indoor/arena class 'AAA' football club that was established in 2007. The first kick off was in 2008 as a travel team whose purpose was to play fill in games for 2 professional indoor football leagues. By the summer of the second traveling season, new ownership was taken over and brought new life to the Bayriders. The new ownership is already showing growth since 2010, and will pack a punch in the years to come to the owners, players and to the fans of football.

Also in 2010, we became club members of the R.I.F.L. (Regional Indoor Football League). R.I.L.F is a regional league based out of Florida. Allowing us to play against teams from as for south as Florida. We went undefeated until losing to the Sarasota Scorpions in the league championship game. In 2011, the Bayriders played a season of exhibition games as a travel team after the R.I.F.L. ceased to exist . The following year brought stability for the club as they became members of the 2012 M.I.F.L. (Major Indoor Football League).

The M.I.F.L. is a class 'AAA' indoor football league that has proven to be the perfect fit for the Bayriders . On the field in 2012, the Bayriders played hard, but fell short in the post season. During the 2013 season, the club finished 2nd in the league's regular season and lost in the conference championship game.

Currently, 2014 has proven to be the best so far in the history of the club. Crowning the Bayriders winners of the Southern Division Championship. But unfortunately, we came one game short of the championship again by losing the conference championship game to the eventual league champions. In 2015 the Bayriders went undefeated enroute to the league championship game but ran out of steam losing to the Reading Raptors. Going into the 2016 season the Bayriders had high hopes but were only able to go2-6. In 2017 the Bayriders set to rebuild and the results were less than stellar but improved in the win column going 3-5 and had a player from the roster move up to the professional level.

In 2018 and beyond, the Delmarva Bayriders hopes to bring to Delmarva family friendly, high quality, and most importantly, affordable entertainment to it's community.
